Record growth in SIPP

We’ve seen an 18% increase in new business for SIPPs in 2024, compared to the same period in 2023 while seeing non-standard assets falling to just 0.47% of new business cases. With more clients seeking greater control and flexibility over their pension savings, 53% of new SIPP applications had commercial property as their main investment intent, reflecting our specialism in this aspect of pension scheme administration.

Streamlined client support

We’ve invested in new technology to ensure a seamless experience for new clients opening a SIPP with 50% using our ‘Apply online’ application in 2024. In addition, 66% of SIPPs transferred from other SIPP providers, up from 51% in 2023.

On our website, our new ‘human’ online Chat feature offers an alternative method for clients and advisers to contact us, which can be especially useful for out of office opening hours.

In 2024, we moved our default SIPP bank account to Barclays for a more streamlined service for clients, who can now see a full transaction history of this default bank account on the Client Portal, along with notification of the current interest rates. 

We also continue to support financial advisers and their clients through our team of dedicated pension administrators and consultants - with a named person looking after every aspect of a client’s SIPP or SSAS with us. 

Proven success with financial advisers

We’d like to thank financial advisers for their continued support, which also helped us to achieve our 12th Five-Star Service Award from FT Adviser – an award voted for by financial advisers. We also received the most 5-star votes in the pensions and protection category, resulting in Dentons Pensions also achieving the ‘Readers’ Choice’ award.
